Anti-model (o靚模) activists protest at HK Book FairVIDEO DESCRIPTION:
http://www.scmp.com/video The innocuous Hong Kong Book Fair usually doesn't attract much controversy but this year on its 20th anniversary, a small number of activists who organised themselves through Facebook have been causing a bit of media frenzy lately. The Public Cultural Events Concern Group, a splinter unit from the "Kicking pseudo-models out of Book Fair" was born out of apathy and kicked into action for the first time by handing out leaflets and staging a protest on the opening day of the fair. Both groups seek to highlight claims of increasing commercialisation of the Fair due to the influx of pseudo-models promoting their racy photo albums. In this video we speak to the group's founder Isaac Cheung and also hear from Marvyn Cheung, an adjudicator from the Obscene Articles Tribunal, about his thoughts on one such photo album. Correction: The protest organiser's name is Isaac Cheung Chun-hoi
